Hey,
NEW YOUTUBE VIDEO IS LIVE.
If you’ve been struggling with sugar cravings, I just dropped a new video sharing 3 practical hacks to help you beat your sugar addiction.
But before you watch it, there’s something important you need to understand:
Some foods aren't just foods. They're triggers.
A trigger food is something that makes it significantly harder for you to stop eating, control portions, or make the next healthy decision.
And this is why we keep things simple.
The Basics:
Drink water
Move regularly
Eat whole foods
No snacking
No fast food
No liquid sugars
Why?
Because your environment matters.
1. Liquid sugar
Cooldrinks, sugary coffees, energy drinks and other sweetened beverages are incredibly easy to consume quickly.
You don't have to chew them.
You don't have to sit down and eat them.
And before you know it, you've consumed a significant amount of sugar without feeling particularly satisfied.
That can make it very easy to repeat the behaviour again later.
Eat your fruit. Don't drink it. Drink water.
2. Snacks
Here's where a lot of people get themselves into trouble.
"I only had a little something."
Then another little something.
Then something while watching TV.
Then something because you're bored.
The problem isn't that one snack is automatically going to ruin your health.
It's the constant eating.
When food is always available, you remove the natural gaps between meals where your body simply isn't eating.
So instead of constantly asking yourself, "What can I snack on?"
Ask yourself:
"Am I actually hungry?"
if the answer is yes…MAKE FOOD. (Protein, veggies and carbs)
3. Fast food & highly processed foods
These foods are often designed to be extremely convenient, highly palatable and easy to keep eating.
They're also everywhere.
Which means you're not only fighting hunger you're fighting availability, convenience and temptation.
Sometimes the smartest thing you can do is simply stop putting yourself in situations where you have to exercise discipline 20 times a day.
Make the healthy choice the easy choice.
Stock your kitchen with foods you actually want to eat.
Keep water nearby.
Eat proper meals.
Move your body.
And stop turning every moment of boredom, stress or entertainment into an opportunity to eat.
This is what we do here.
We're building a lifestyle where healthy decisions become normal.
You don't need another complicated diet.
You need a few simple principles that you can actually live by consistently.
